ExploreChi is a mobile app that extends the impact of the L3 platform by supporting anytime anywhere learning in Chicago. 

Just In Time
Capture learning milestones as they happen, wherever they take place and assure portfolios represent the full spectrum of one's interests and skills. Get location and interest based recommendations and discover the safe and engaging spaces and programs throughout the city.

Accessible
Engage learners without excluding those with less access. The ExploreChi app allows learners to engage deeply on devices without data plans. Engage in learning content, capture progress and plan for safely accessing spaces for learning without requiring always available internet access.

Safe Transportation
Plan to safely get to your activities throughout the city. Coordinate and travel with friends and keep family and mentors up to date on your status in getting to and from program sites.

ExploreChi has received investment from the National Science Foundation and Mozilla Hive Chicago. The app is being piloted in the Summer of 2017 before being made publicly available to any learner in Chicago.
